Fon Leigh is a mixed media artist from Long Beach, California. Her work is bigger than her dreams can contain. Using mixed media, she blends ink, watercolor, and gouache, just as dreams blend with reality on canvas. Exploring connection and identity between herself and others, her dreams act as a guide for how she paints. Her paintings focus on women and the surreal and abstract realities of what it means to exist. When you put a little bit of yourself in a painting, what makes up the rest? She invites you to see a little bit of yourself in her paintings, just as she sees a little bit of herself in them.
